Meet Dr. Ortega

Leticia Lozada Ortega, DDS is our new associate dentist at Fernwood Family Dental. She is extensively trained in comprehensive patient care and provides specialized services including cosmetic/restorative dentistry and orthodontic treatments. She is wonderful when caring for children as she is in treating our older patients, so you will know that all your treatments, no matter the complexity, will be performed with meticulous attention to detail.

After her graduation from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA), Dr. Ortega moved to Kitsap County in July of 2023 with her husband and 5-year-old son after falling for the natural beauty of the area.

Dr. Ortega has remained dedicated to continuing her education in diagnosis and Orthodontics. Her approach to dental care incorporates healthy living and proper nutrition as keys to a healthy smile.

‍In her free time, Dr. Ortega likes working out and hiking/exploring new places in the forest, trying new flavors, and looking for adventures with her son and husband. Dr. Ortega has a strong work ethic and values faith and family above all else in life.

She enjoys making professional connections and is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association.
